Vidic retire internationally
Union declared Serbian football on his website Monday that defender Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United of England, retired from international football after the failure of Serbia to qualify for the European Championship finals in Poland and Ukraine next year.
The Union added that "the Serbian Union wishes to thank Vidic at all what he did to Serbian football respect his decision and we want to emphasize that the doors of the national team will remain open to him if he chooses to return."
